Today I had the opportunity to talk to two young Brawley Union High School Students, Abigail Gutierrez and Tahjah Fortune. These two young ladies have been working on project that they call Project Empowerment. Their main goal is to give school administrators, teachers, counselors, psychologist and parents in general a student’s perspective on student mental health, how they cope and why sometimes they’re not completely honest with adults when they are asked about their mental well being.
