Today I had the opportunity to sit down and talk to some returning guests Richie, Fernie, Reyes and Quintin otherwise known as Sweet Orange. It’s obvious that during these times many bands like Sweet Orange have had a rough time, they obviously can’t play for crowds and even practicing is hard. Instead of letting this time go to waste they guys decided to take advantage of this quiet time and focus on creating new music. They took to the studio and recorded their debut album Off the Grid which includes 10 songs including my favorite “I Like It”. The guys are eager to go out there and play in front of their fans just like everyone else is dying to see them play and listen to their new music live and maybe even do it while we enjoy a Centinela IPA at Calexico Brewing Company.
