Over the weekend I had the opportunity to talk to one of the candidates for Calexico City Council, Javier Moreno. He’s a lifelong Calexico resident, a retired police officer and he’s also been part of the board of directors for the Calexico Wellness Center.
I asked Javier what he thought of the current situation in Calexico in terms of the council, their decisions and indecision, our water quality, transparency in politics, and what are some of the troubles he sees in our future due to the pandemic and what are some of the solutions he has in mind.
